So, I bought my first pair and instantly fell in love with them. I’ve worn barefoot shoes for close to seven years… I think.. honestly, time flies for me. Anyways, I’ve worn them non-stop. I even use them for work, and I work for hours on end on my feet walking, busting my butt all the time, and they’re the best shoes I’ve worn when it comes to working. (Don’t try this unless your feet are strong enough walking barefoot for hours.. WORKING. And you actually know how to walk CORRECTLY barefoot. Definitely not for beginners.) I even took them to Cali for vacation up in the mountains where it was snowing with very slippery and icy floors. Out of everyone in the family, I was the only one who didn’t slip lmfao there was one time I almost did, but it’s like I had enough grip to stay put. Kept my feet warm enough at least, I didn’t really feel cold.. but I was also wearing socks, but they were wet in the end. I legit had a great time with them regardless. I’ve took them also to hike in, and it was great! And even to Disney, you can just imagine those long walks lol Came back to Miami where it’s mad hot, and I wouldn’t dare wear these without socks because since it’s so hot my feet would easily sweat and sweaty feet and this material it has inside feels mad slippery and uncomfortable if you’re sweating. But when I wear socks they’re AMAZING, and I got stable footing again compared to when i was slippering in them sockless which honestly i think i almost injured myself because of the lack of stable footing. I always have people talking about them because they look like socks, and they say they look mad comfortable.. which by the way THEY ARE. I already had two of my home boys try them out cause they were mad curious, they loved them. So i bought them a pair each cause they’re mad cheap and a extra pair for myself lol and now I see my homeboys wear them like crazy as well. I already do see the bottom starting to wear off from the use I put in for my first pair, but I’ll be honest.. I really did put a beating on them like no joke… so In a sense I’m not surprised, but they’re cheap so they’re way worth it. I do have cats and a dog that shed like crazy, so when I first got these shoes they attracted ALL the hairs on the rubber parts, but as it gets used up they stopped sticking as much, and now they don’t seem to stick at all except the top parts but easily can be taken off from the wooven parts. They do tend to smell after a while, but since I wear socks, I also wash them, and I take care of my feet and spray it against things like athletes foot, it’s not a deal breaker for me because i dont allow it to get to bad smelling. I’ve also ran with these, felt good and i felt secure even with gravel, but mainly short runs. I’ve yet to try it for long distance running so I wouldn’t know how they would hold up for something like that. I haven’t even used my Vivobarefoot shoes since I got these. To me.. that’s saying a lot because that’s all I used to wear for years.

The soles on these shoes are very sticky. Just doing a test fit, walking 5 steps in my house, picked up several cat hairs, specks of fluff, and whatever dirty they could find. I can’t image how messy they would look walking around outside or at a store. They also grip the floor, almost too well. Your typical shoe, sock or even barefoot will slide a little on a flat surface. Not these. They also make an “un-sticking sound” when lifted off the floor.Perhaps these would be good on rocky terrain where you want super grippy shoes. Or perhaps the sticky would wear off after some use. But at least out of the box, I didn’t like the way moved on the floor. They were however super comfy elsewise

I’m a minimalist aficionado, and have worn primarily minimal shoes for the last 10 years or so, so have already worked through the inevitable plantar fasciitis that newcomers will get (so calibrate this review accordingly).I took these sock shoes out for a trail run this morning, and found that they do a really good job staying on my foot without sliding, and the sole is thick enough that I didn’t have any bruising from stepping on rocks. They did have some sideways slippage on one step I took, so beware that they are not as stable as regular shoes.I haven’t worn these enough yet to know about their durability or whether they eventually start to stink, but I had a previous sock shoe with a thinner sole that developed a really bad smell after a few months and also started to crack in the sole after several months of trail running. But overall, for the price-point of these sock shoes, they tend to have a lower cost-per-mile than my other $100+ minimal shoes that won’t last a year.

These are truly barefoot shoes. There is no support and nothing between your feet and the floor except your socks and a thin layer of “rubber”. I was having lots of foot problems and the more cushion I added, the worse my feet were. I bought these in all black along with the Whitin minimalist shoes. I could only wear these for a short time around the house in the beginning but can wear them all day now and sometimes forget I have them on and wear out to run errands. Feet have improved drastically with the combo of shoes. I still throw on my crocs now and then when my feet need more cushion or warmth but these are great and will buy again if these fall apart, which I can’t see happening any time soon.

Got tired of wearing a hole in the heel of my socks from wearing them around the house. Hospital socks with the anti slip on the bottom are so cheap and sloppy they are not worth the money.I normally wear a size 14 shoe. These only go up to size 13 but I though I would take a chance. They fit snug but comfortable. I like the look and feel and they should last a very long time. This is going to save me money on expensive socks and keep my big feet warm in the winter. My wife now wants a pair.

The soles shed like crazy. I use these to walk on my treadmill because it’s about as close to barefoot as you can get. I don’t drag my feet and yet the soles are constantly being ripped up, shedding rubber bits. Not only is this annoying, but if you wore them outside like they’re designed for, you’d be polluting the beaches with rubber. I don’t know, doesn’t seem like a good design but beyond that they’re decent.

I run 6 miles daily barefoot on the sand along the water line on a southern California beach. I hoped these shoes would help keep my toes warm and protect my feet so I could concentrate less on where to step to avoid occasional stones, shells, lobster carcasses, seaweed etc. These shoes def helped. They are a little large which may have contributed to hotspot blisters forming on the bottom of both heals and shortening my run. I doubt I’ll wear them for running again.
