I bought this for some cold water canyoneering, and it performed very well. I am 5’9″ 145 pounds and fits mostly very well. It’s a little short in the legs, and a little baggy around the shoulders and arms. I have a very thin athletic body type that doesn’t quite match up with clothes super often so I didn’t expect it to fit perfectly, but it’s close enough for me to be happy with it. For the price, I’m quite pleased with the quality. The thick rubberized knees and chest/belly area is probably great for surfing. It does add friction on rocks as I squeeze past them, but it doesn’t really bother me much. It adds some toughness which I can appreciate. The only other complaint I have is that the neck is really tight for me, but I’ve found that’s true for just about every wetsuit I’ve owned or tried on except the V neck jacket or vest types.

Found suit to be made nicely, only drawback I found after taking suit off (inside out), was there were some loose threads. No big deal, just needed to burn them with a lighter and push down with fingers while still warm to limit their catching on anything while taking off/on and unraveling later on.I bought this suit because I had bought another suit for winter paddling; 7mm; and had problems trying to zip it up from the rear. I had ordered a 2xl with that one, so it fit snugly for me and thought that may have been the problem. So, I ordered a 3xl on this one and still have the problem. Best I can figure is it’s because I’ve got a rather large chest; 42″; but this 3xl doesn’t fit as snugly. So, your guess is as good as mine as to why the zippers are binding. Don’t have this problem with my chest zip suit, but it’s a half suit and rated like this one for warmer weather. After looking up this problem on YouTube, I’ve doused the zipper teeth in shampoo in hopes this’ll help, will find out later.Beyond that, it’s a great suit.Update on the zipper problem. Adding shampoo to the teeth really didn’t help any, maybe got an extra inch closed before binding again. Finally was able to grab some of the suit with my other hand; near the base of my spine; and pulled down as I pulled up on the lanyard. That allowed me to zip it up completely. Haven’t tried it with the other suit I bought for winter use, but not sure that’s gonna be possible with it being a 7mm suit and not as much flexibility.

Great wetsuit, especially for the price. I’m tall and weigh about 136 pounds. Even though all the advice from other buyers said to get the Medium, that one was a skimpy fit, just too tight. The size Large is just right, easy to move in while fitting me pretty closely all over. Have stayed in the water 2 hours and not gotten chilly. Compared with my other 2mm wetsuits, this one feels a little thinner, a little more lightweight. Nice color, like raspberry sherbet.

The media could not be loaded. Wow!!! What a great product for the price!! I am severely impressed with this one. I was hesitant going with the cheaper suit but this suit is very well made and great for anyone. A bit on the thicker or bulky side if you prefer a lighter or thinner wetsuit, and I am writing this without having swam in it yet. Plan to bring snorkeling on vacation. Neoprene looks like good quality. Stitching is well done. Very happy with this purchase and very happy I didn’t buy the $100+ suit!
