I read a lot of the reviews etc for this item. I was really looking for something that is going to turn a child face up out of the water. That is not this item. The literature I received with the device states that it is a βbuoyancy deviceβ and a type II PFD. Type II PFDs will βonly turn some children to a face up positionβ according to the manual. If youβre looking for a guaranteed turn to a face up position you are looking for a type I PFD.

My 20-month-old wore this without any fuss. We started calling it his boat jacket, and he would get excited to put it on before heading out to the dock. It was very secure, easy to use, and it didnβt make our toddler uncomfortable while wearing it in May in Alabama.

Bought three of these for my grandchildren. Their lives are priceless so I wanted the very best. They have used them over a year now with no issues. They swim, jump off a 10 foot platform, go down water slides, and are pulled behind the boat on a tube with no issues what so ever.

My young son has ASD and loves to be in the water but still cannot grasp how to keep himself from falling face forward into the water without my assistance. I thought this style of life jacket would help with that, but I couldnβt be too far from him and still had to basically hold him up.Still it arrived quickly and is nice and bright, as shown.

We ordered this after a long search for a pfd with a different, more slim, design than what is available in Scandinavia. This fits perfectly and can easily be adjusted for a snug fit on different body types. Our son loves it and it allows him to play and move around freely. It has a good sized handle, good head support and high quality on all parts. The same design for infants is a type ll pfd, while this size for larger children is type lll pfd, so Iβm not sure yet if this will be able to turn him face up (he is a bit lighter than the recommended weight range). During the first test in water he did not really want to let go completely of my hands but it felt like it did a good job keeping his head up while in back position. Over all Iβm very happy with this pfd.

Introducing my son to the water, I was worried. Compared tons of different vests. I am not disappointed with it. Helps him float on his back, keeps him safe.

Got this for a weekend at the lake and it was perfectly comfortable for my toddler on the boat and in the water. Great safety features with flotation support behind the neck and head along with strap between the legs and all straps are adjustable to child’s size. Looking forward to using it for future water activities.
