   I would highly recommend this product. It has the foam inserts for easy molding to your item you are placing in it. It comes with 2 bottom wheels and a extended handle for walking with it. Just like a checked bag for the airlines. Which is why I purchased it to begin with. I have not flown with it yet, but I am sure it will withstand the airlines handling of it. Great product, Pelican is a brand you can trust to be a great product and heavy duty made.

   The only downside to this case is that it’s not light but that’s expected for protection.    I have had this case for 5 years. Unfortunately it is now heading to the trash. The two star rating is for the warranty more than anything. I travel frequently and used this case for both equipment and personal items. It was a pain to travel with. The case is very heavy, so I had to pack light to stay under weight limits. The wheels have always been mediocre at best. I thought these cases were indestructible with a great warranty. I was mistaken. When I got this case out for my most recent trip I noticed damage to the wheel assembly and contacted pelican about a replacement. This was their response: “I’m sorry, our warranty does not cover damages by airlines because you will need to file a claim with them.- All warranty claims of any nature are barred if the product has been altered, damaged or in any way physically changed, or subjected to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident.”I suppose you don’t have to honor many warranties if nothing is covered. Also the wheel assembly cannot be replaced. So this is nothing more than a really expensive heavy piece of trash now. Over all very disappointed in the product and the warranty.

   I bought this Pelican so i could travel worry free. I sure do not want my expensive computer and monitor that i put in there damaged. I am used to seeing all types of Pelican cases at my job and they are all tough. I have no concerns over the quality of this Pelican case. The case is made of dense plastic and can repel alot of wear and tear. The worst thing that I would be worried about is the case getting lost in transit other than that It would put up with alot of abuse. The peel away foam is also easy to position your belongings as you see fit. My only complaint is the wheels are a little cheap and it will make it harder to roll on gravel or grass.

   I bought this for a Sparx Hockey home sharpener. It’s a touch smaller than their crazily priced custom box… But it holds it just fine, and perfectly protects it. You get multiple layers of tear away sponge filler, and can customize what it is you’re using the box for. It’s a nice chunk of money, but if you want a hard case with wheels and a handle, this is THE way to go.

   Simply amazing! $300 to protect My Equipment was the best choice I’ve ever made.. glad i decided on the Pelican Storm case and not another brand … very sturdy, and bigger than what i thought it would be …
