I have hard flooring throughout my entire house, so walking around barefoot for a long period of time makes my feet sore.It also seems like 10 minutes after I mop the floors, they’re dirty again… and I HATE walking on what feels like grit or dirt on the floor. So I often wear socks around the house… which creates a lot of extra laundry, and wears my socks out quicker.When I first received these shoes I had just planned on trying them on real quick, then put them away to save for use during our upcoming beach trip. But once I had them on, they were sooooooo comfortable that I decided to leave them on to walk around the house. They are much more comfortable than going barefoot or wearing socks on my hard floors.I very well may end up buying a second pair for the beach, and keep these as ‘house shoes.’I also love that they look a lot like tennis shoes (aka sneakers), thanks to the laces — which can be tightened and loosened.My old pair of beach shoes had a zipper running along the top, and looked more like bowling shoes. One of the zippers broke after a few uses, which is why I started searching for a new pair. I was happy to find these zipper-free, nice-looking replacements.That said, these cost a lot more than my old ones (which were less than $10.)I go to the beach every few months and am always worried about stepping on broken glass, pieces of aluminum, and fishing hooks when walking along the beach and in the water. Wearing beach shoes eases my mind quite a bit because the bottom rubber adds a good bit of protection from injury/cuts that can easily be caused by sharp objects covered/hidden by sand or seaweed.I wish I could trust other beach goers not to leave their trash behind, but I learned a long time ago that many people are big-time litter bugs, and do not concern themselves with the increased danger their beer cans and beer bottles (etc) creates — not to mention the danger to sea life and birds who mistake garbage for food.I suspect these shoes will also help protect me if I were to accidentally step on a stingray while in the water.The only negative I’ve found with these is the fact that the insole comes out EVERY single time I remove my foot. It’s easy enough to push it back in, but it’s still quite annoying. I did not have that problem with my old shoes.I plan to try some sort of very strong, waterproof glue to keep the insoles inside both shoes.

These are the most comfortable water shoes I have ever used. We took these with us on our vacation to Mexico and I am so happy that I did. Not only did I have these for myself, I got a pair for my 14 yr daughter and 8 year son. They are so comfortable that in most cases we wore them all day. We wore them jumping off the rocks, while in the ocean and even walking through the towns. Never once did they ever hurt our feet. Definitely recommend!!

Fit as expected, can even fit even more snug (if needed/wanted) by pulling tighter on the shoe lace cords. When wearing while swimming OR water aerobics, suggest tucking excess cord in and up through the lacing to keep excess cord from slipping out around shoe/ankle.Great color combinations to choose from. The design of the soles help with gripping wet surfaces and provide firm support while walking.

These pool shoes are very comfortable and I have a wide foot. I wanted something colorful instead of plain black. They have a removable insole & dry quickly. I’ll order them in other colors.

I got these for my boyfriend because we go camping a lot. He’s worn them while swimming, fishing, walking trails, etc. They’re very flexible and light weight! I’ll be ordering myself some for next summer
