I swim 3-4x per week in masters club. I like this bag over the Speedo because it stands up for the most part. I like the configuration of pockets, especially the wet pocket in front. I put my cap and suit inside for easy access before I go, at the locker, and hang up at home. Side pockets good for toiletries, lock, mp3 player, extra caps and goggles. I like the carabiner clips for my goggles and pull buoy. The main compartment is a little small. I put in a pair of Tyr short swim fins, paddles, flip flop shower shoes, and my towel. Anything more is overcrowded. This and the relatively small opening are the only thing preventing 5 stars. This is my second Tyr Alliance bag. My first lasted a little over a year. I could have made it last two, but for less than $40 it was nice to freshen up. Outside got a little funky, and zippers started to stick. I live at the beach and also used the hell out of it so price of doing business. I bought the Speedo bag. I liked the look and the room, but was pissed that it kept falling over. I returned it. This one will stand up on a locker bench, ground, chair which is a nice feature for any workout bag. The Alliance is an excellent workout bag if you don’t have too much crap to put inside. In that case maybe buy a Speedo mesh bag for your toys and this one for your personals. Just don’t forget the second bag leaving the pool or locker.

With all these COVID rules, I pretty much have to take my whole house with me to the Y when I swim, so this bag is really out-preforming itself these days. It is super roomy so yes, the kitchen sink fits, too! It’s easy to access everything in your bag with the way they designed to top opening. It has tons of zippered pockets, a few carabiners and heavy duty zipper pulls. I love the separate space for wet shoes. I’m a tiny person and the well designed straps make it easy to carry a full and heavy load. But the best part is that the back pack has a rigid back support that keeps it upright and open. It’s not floppy. It doesn’t collapse on itself. It won’t fall over. It stays put and it stays open. No spills. And the bottom is covered with heavy duty waterproof material that extends up the sides so there’s no wicking of yucky pool water or gym dirt.

Beautiful color. The Orange is more a a neon hunting orange color not quite as muted as was seen on my laptop. Good news is that I was hoping it would be brighter. So many pockets to stuff my gear. The zippers are all equipped with pull tabs. Love the huge main compartment and the laptop compartment is a nice addition too. I go from pool to work everyday with just one bag! I’m in love!

Worth the investment. I use it for lap swimming and trips to the beach. It fits everything I need. The zippers work well and I love that it stands up straight when I place it on the ground. This is really helpful on the beach and in the locker room.
