I use this product for kayak fishing and it checks all the boxes for me. It feels quality, pretty breathable and has the right size pockets in the right places. My favorite thing is the pliers pocket. It has place to route the lanyard for the pliers through and places the pliers pocket on a very natural place to grab when you need it. It has a pocket on the other side on the upper right shoulder for a pocket knife. I have a pretty big safety knife the fits in there pretty well. The front pocket is great position as well, it’s like have a fanny pack without having to be seen with a fanny pack. I usually throw my phone in there along with lures or flies I might want to swap to throughout the day. I got the burnt orange color for visibility and it’s perfect. It’s a very visible color without being bright and shining. Couldn’t be happier, if I lost it I would be the same one again.

This PFD is excellent and well worth the price. I fish out of a sit on top kayak and have no trouble paddling or casting while wearing this. The low profile vented back panel is really good. You honestly don’t even notice you’re wearing it, unlike some other bulky PFDs. It also manages to keep you pretty cool. I’ve been out midday in 90+ degree temps on a 75 lb kayak + gear + my 7 year old and don’t feel suffocated or drenched in sweat at all.The attachment point and little pockets for all your fishing accessories like clippers, pliers, and small folding knife are also great. The front pocket has a lot of nice divisions to store stuff as well.Overall I highly recommend this PFD for anyone that’s serious about fishing.

This life jacket is perfect for fly fishing. The fit gives you plenty of clearance for casting and stripping line. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the center front pocket, however after taking it on several trips I can report that you donโt even notice you are wearing the jacket. It does not get in the way whatsoever, and is so comfortable that you forget you are wearing it. The front pocket is super convenient for holding extra flies, leaders, line, cell phone, and any other important items you need immediate access to. 100% recommend for anyone who likes to fly fish from a kayak or canoe.

I finally bought one and I’m glad I got this one. Holds my must have stuff while sitting in my kayak fishing keeps my pliers and knife right on my chest hold my lighter and phone in the center and I wore it for over 8 hours while I got drink going down river in a tube and at some point even forgot I had it on.

I am large chested and this life jacket fit great. It has an easy to access storage pocket and I could slide my white claw in the jacket when paddling my kayak.
