My daughter is 24 months, 29lbs and 36″ tall. The size 2-3 fits her, but fits really snug around the legs and waist. There is some more fabric in the front, it looks the way it does in pictures on other babies. She normally wears a 3t (sometimes 4t it depends) and I would say she is pretty big for her age. I was worried it was too snug around the legs, but she hasn’t complained about it. She has been running around in them to test them out and she seems perfectly happy in them. I ordered two pairs of the hot pink color. I purchased these for an upcoming cruise we are going on. They seem very well made, snug and thick nice material. I will update if I have any issues. Disposible swim diapers were leaking poo in the pool on us….gross. We would get her out and poo would be running down her leg, yikes! Not fun! My friend had the same issue and she got these swim diapers. She said they are a game changer. I’m pretty sure I will put a disposable under this on vacation to make for easier clean up. I imagine you would not have to do that though. The material seems thick enough on its own. I just dont want to be cleaning poo out of diapers on vacation in a tiny cruise ship bathroom. My daughter likes to go #2 in the pool, if you didnt already gather that. Lol! I have previously tried iplay brand reusable swim diapers as well as some others from Amazon. I hated the iplay ones. They were a nightmare to clean. Even with a disposable swim diaper under it, they like absorbed the poo way down in the diaper and it was so hard to clean it out! The poo got way into many layers of the diaper. These diapers dont have any mesh or layers of thick fabric inside to absorb all the poo like the iplay ones, but they are really fitted around the legs and everywhere else so I would think it would keep all the poo in the diaper. I want a swim diaper that has a thick enough fabric to keep poo all in the diaper without needing tons of layers of fabric to absorb poo like the iplay ones. If that makes sense. I dont see poo being able to get through the material this diaper is made out of. It feels like a thick scuba wet suit. There is more coverage around the waist and legs of this diaper vs the iplay one, so better to keep poo in the diaper. I also like that there is more coverage on this swim diaper so if this is worn alone there is no chance your little one will be exposed in any way. The only problem is if your daughter wears a one piece or bikini bottom the legs on the swim diaper may stick out. That’s not an issue for us though because my daughter will wear this as her swim bottom and wear a rash guard from swim zip on the top. This swim diaper really doesn’t look like a swim diaper. With a rash guard top, it just looks like a cute little pair of short bottoms. It’s nice for toddlers who are potty training to not wear a big bulky little baby swim diaper. One thing that really bothered me about the iplay swim diaper is it held water in the diaper like crazy. I was always squeezing the water out. Again, this doesn’t have all the layers of fabric to hold in water like that one does. I know they have a wrap thing to go under this swim diaper, but I honestly think I would prefer a disposable swim diaper under it for vacation and when at home I would just have this worn alone. Like I said if this doesnt hold poo or I have an issue with this I will for *sure* update my review. If not, then it worked out fine and my 5 star review stands.

I already know I love these swim diapers because weβve been using one for over a year now. They keep water out and are super comfortable. It was time to order a new one. The color advertised, is not the same as what I received. The blue looks much much lighter (like a baby blue) online. Itβs not a big deal but ai wouldβve chose a different one had I known.

We took our 6 week old to the beach and he was too small for swim diapers. We used this over a regular diaper and he had a liquid, newborn, breastfed baby poop and this thing held it all in! Heβs literally gotten poop all over me when we went without this on top so I know for sure this worked! No more pool clearing disasters ??Iβd say make sure itβs snug around the waist and legs but this was far superior to the terrible disposable swim diapers and worth every penny.

We used this swim diaper for our 10 month old for ISR swim /water safety lessons. It is a great swim diaper and the only diaper our ISR chapter approves for use during the lessons. (They required a first reusable swim diaper and the βHappy Nappyβ over the top.) We chose the XL 1-2 years size as our infant as our child is bigger than average on the % chart. Cute designs. Well made (good material and stitching). Fits well. Allows good movement in the water. We wash ours on cool cycle and then air dry. lasting well.

These donβt have a ton of stretch, so itβs a little effort to get them on, but I feel that is what makes them so successful. You want a snug fit. I finally found these with my third child and hands down they are the best. Keeps the mess inside. We already know pee is not contained in disposable swim diapers. These also do not contain pee. Itβs the number 2 we are worried about. These do the trick-every time.

Love this swim diaper! Comfortable enough for my 3 month old and serves itβs purpose well for his twice weekly swim classes. I will say that these seem to run very small, even taking into consideration the fact that they are supposed to fit snugly. The 3-6 month size is a perfect fit for my 3 month old, but definitely wonβt fir him through 6 months, maybe not even 5. My baby is smaller with a weight in the lower percentile rang for his age – I can definitely see the 3-6 month size being too small for larger babies in that age range. Definitely go by measurements for sizing on these.

I guess it needs to be super tight to do itβs job but the 12-24m barely fits on my 23lb 11m old. He definitely has chonk thighs but a pretty normal belly and it was prone to rolling down.

I love the look, design, and material of this product. Definitely follow the recommendation and order size according to the measurements, NOT the size of baby. By doing so we got a PERFECT fit for our baby! It appears to be very comfortable on him. He had no issues while wearing it or putting it on. It stretches great and fits snuggly around the legs and back, but the material doesn’t allow for it to be uncomfortably tight. It is a perfect material for babies. We love this!
