I wanted something that would fit the skin diving components of my SCUBA kit (mask, snorkel, fins & booties) so that I could easily grab and go if I was just snorkeling that day. This bag BARELY fits the bill with some strategic placement of the items. The bag is pretty much the exact dimensions to comfortably fit my fins. The rest of the items need to be put in tetris style to get the zipper to barely shut. The main issue is the mask case. It’s difficult to find an area of the bag that has enough spare room to accommodate it’s rigid, bulkiness. By the time I get everything in and the zippers closed…. the bag is bulging pretty good…. which makes the outside pockets pretty useless for storing anything more than a sheet of paper. In any case, the bag met my requirements to transport all the necessary gear, so I decided to keep it. I’m only somewhat disappointed that it can’t also store a snack, towel, etc as other reviewers claimed they use it for, but that would’ve only been a bonus. Otherwise, the price is fair and it meets my minimum requirements. 3 Stars.I’m speculating, but I think it’s intended more for smaller, lighter duty fins and not full-sized SCUBA fins. This would be fine if it was more clear when buying… and it didn’t have the words “ScubaPro” in the name and dive flags embroidered onto the bag. π

I was looking for a smaller bag for my fins, mask, and snorkel and some accessories. Something I could use if I wanted to hike with the equipment (not a big carryall for all scuba gear). Most of the smaller bags were for fins less than 22 inches, and I have 22.5″ fins. The main pocket is roomy enough for my fins, snorkel, and my mask in a protective case. I can even fit a small hand towel. The outside mesh bag is great for things like a small flashlight, defogger, etc. there are two other compartments – one is a perfect size for my dive log and the other is great for storing other miscellaneous accessories.I’ve brought this on several dive trips and it has held up well – no tears or signs of wear other than dirt.I wish that the bag had two straps instead of one, as that would lie more comfortably on the back. However the single padded strap is comfortable – just slightly awkward when hiking.I can definitely recommend this to others.

I love this bag! My 22.5″ fins, mask (with case), booties and snorkel fit nicely in the large section. In the next largest compartment my size 8 flip flops fit nicely. Alternatively, if you have longer fins, a mask with case will fit in there or sunscreen, etc. The next smaller pocket can hold things like keys, map/paperwork, slate. I had mask defogger, ear drops, small sunscreen, and hand sanitizer in the little mesh pocket. I clamped a hair clip claw on the mesh opening as an obstruction to help prevent my bottles from possibly falling out. I was worried about that but nothing fell out. The strap is nice, wide and adjustable. There is a 2″ mesh sections under the outside pockets and one on each of the lower sides of the bag to allow water or sand to drain. The actual bottom of the bag when you stand it up is the blue fabric which is nice because mesh might get snagged. I am very happy with this bag.

I was looking for a bag to carry my fins & mask for the 1/2 mile walk from my house to the pool each morning to replace the mesh bag that came with my fins that ripped. I did a lot of research and almost didnβt pick this bag as I tend to be a βbuy once, cry onceβ kinda guy and I thought the low price may equal lower quality. Iβm glad I went with my gut though and purchased this bag. It fits my size XL Scuba Pro Novas and my mask in its case in the main body. I keep my wallet, my Beats ear buds and my phone in the external pockets and sling it over my shoulder and Iβm out the door. Now, is this the bag Iβd pick to overfill and take on an airplane? No. No it is not. But if youβre just looking for a bag to fit your Nova Fins (it fits my XL Rocket Fins as well, but Iβm over those), and throw in the car or over your shoulder for a short walk to the beach/pool, this bag is great.

I live ten minutes from the beach in Florida so I go snorkeling a lot. I needed something to carry most of my beach stuff without being too large. I ordered one of the other ones on Amazon and had to return it. It was way too big. Maximum load is pretty much what follows. Set of flippers, mask, not too thick beach towel, no-fog juice, Iphone, sun tan lotion, sunglasses, car keys, baseball cap. Comfortable padded strap. I prefer the one strap design as it keeps the other shoulder free for my beach chair strap.

Plenty of room for gear but dont expect it to fit the gear for two people.

Bottom line: Very pleased and no regrets. Surprisingly roomy for the snorkeling essentials. When fully packed inside, the outside non-gusseted pockets have limited functionality. Itβs a bit pricey, but the bagβs quality and utility makes it worth it.Pros. 1) Very good fit and finish with durable materials; 2) fit all my snorkeling essentials: a pair of large ScubaPro jet fins with spring straps, Atomic mask, Atomic snorkel, non-hard soled 3mm neoprene booties, 3 oz Goo tube filled with sunscreen, medium sized microfiber towel, swim goggles, swim cap, car keys, long-sleeved Patagonia capilene shirt, and a small wallet. Itβs a Tetris like process and I couldnβt pass a fart between the contents but it all fit without stressing the seams or zippers.Cons. I get that the guitar case shape lends itself to a single across-the-shoulder strap. This works fine but after a long hot trek across uneven terrain with this tightly (and smartly) packed bag, a two strap backpack style configuration would have been A LOT more comfortable. I used the towel and shirt to cushion my fins against my back, but still β¦
