Bought this when I fixed my plug for my bodyboard. I have gone out boogie boarding with this board three or four times since I put in the new plug and leash string. The leash string is the small piece of cord that connects the lesh to the plug.(See picture 2) there is a slot the lesh goes into and if you have problems you can use a sewing needle to help pull it through or look up on YouTube how to replace your lesh for surfing.

I was pleasantly surprised to find these on amazon especially since I never knew what these are called. It’s nice to have this around because it seems like the only time I get a new leash string for a board is if I buy another leash. In my case I didn’t wanna buy a new leash and I just wanted to find these strings so I could transfer my leash easily from one board to the next. I haven’t had a string break yet, and finger crossed they never break.

Nice value. Pre cut so you don’t have to buy an entire spool of rope for one or two pig tails.

My boogie board string, I guess the new boards don’t use the same style anymore, my boogie board was really old. The new leash I bought could just made a new hole but decided to keep it kinda the OG look. Works well.

Served as a good replacement for a leash cord. It was a little bit of a tight fit, but this should last longer than the cord it replaced.
