My running career took a wee setback with open heart surgery in February. Took a while to get back to running regularly with rather discouraging and irregular performance. I love trail running but vision issues are complicating my return to trails. Glaucoma was successfully treated by surgery but bright sunlight filtered through trees makes roots, rocks and irregularities harder to spot. So I need to rebuild my wind, leg strength and balance on easy surfaces before returning to trails. I have run roads mostly in Ghosts, Glycerins and Hokas. My Mach 4βs and 5βs were doing ok but leaving my legs tired. I spoke with my local running store guru and watched the Ginger Runner reviews and found these Endorphin Speed 2βs on sale. Sliding them on felt encouraging and from my first run the energy return, plate and rocker encouraged faster pace. Leg discomfort and fatigue disappeared and my pace over 6, 8, and 10 miles is now over a minute per mile faster. These Speed 2βs provide a stable platform with superb cushioning. I am 6β1β, 210 lb size 13 with a prominent Tailor Bunion on on my left pinky: the toe box is roomy enough for toe spread and does not touch the top of the nails. Excellent heel lockdown and secure and comfortable grip on the mid foot. Try these Saucony Endorphin Speed 2βs!

I really didn’t need these shoes, but, at the Amazon deal price it was a no-brainer. I have Hoka’s and On Cloudmonsters in my daily rotation and these Saucony running shoes have become a welcome addition as well. They are lightweight, well-cushioned, fast and quite attractive. The forward spring from the full-length nylon pad propels the foot forward and the maximal cushioning adds to make it a great shoe for longer runs. It’s a great shoe at $160, but, at $80 there was not a chance that I could pass it by. Glad I went for these!

The Saucony Endorphin Speed 2’s have become one of my top 2 marathon training shoes. I love the look, fit, and most importantly, energy return I get on my runs.Compared to the Endorphin Shifts (my previous training shoes), these are lighter and more responsive, albeit a little less durable. I will usually use the Speeds for runs up to 13 miles, but switch to a more cushioned/durable training shoe for longer runs. Especially because these make me run faster than I usually aim for.I rotate 2 pairs for most of my training, and a day or 2 off will give the Speed 2s more longevity. At 350 miles, you can definitely feel a difference in cushioning and responsiveness, but they are still pretty good trainers for another 50 – 100 miles.I have an ENORMOUS foot (size 14) and the size is pretty true. If you have a wide foot like mine, you will want to loosen the tongue a bit and not tie these super tight as I have found that as my foot swells in the later miles, these will be a bit restrictive unless you plan ahead.

I have heard about this shoes from YouTubers who started running like Nick Bare and Kofuzi. They aren’t your “I’m a pro athlete runner.”. Well Nick Bare, is kinda is pro at getting good at everything, but that means you can too. With endorphin speed 2, I run my second half marathon in a span 3 months I took off 7 minutes of my old half marathon PR.It doesn’t have the best stability and comfort, but the recoil of this shoes is so good. That going out of your comfort speed tempo is less uncomfortable. The only thing I want this shoes to get improved of is for longevity. I haven’t used it much, I think I only have 50 miles on it, but it felt like it’s won’t be race ready anymore. One more thing to, don’t run in the mud. If you didn’t train your ankles well you’ll sprained them.

I decided to do some running and needed a good pair of running shoes. These are great! I’ve ran 800 miles on them. After mile 700 it already felt hard so ran another 100 miles and retired them. What a great run!

Normally I wear US size 9.5-10, for Endorphin speed 2 (and Pro2) I ordered size 10.5 which fits perfectly for me.I like Endorphin shoes the most because it is very light and comfortable and responsive with good support, They are pushing runner forward while running and I run 40+ miles every week and most time now I am running with Saucony Endorphin shoes!it is the best running shoe I ever wore and I like it so much that I bought 3 more pairs of different color endorphin speed 2 ( Also along with 2 pairs of carbon-plated endorphin pro 2 for faster racing) .I will try Endorphin speed 3 / pro 3 for sure when there is a good price.

Fits nice and snug. The sole padding isnβt overwhelmingly high or low, perfect amount. Really like the βrunning archβ the shoe has, really helpful on my legs and knees while Iβm running. Overall best running shoe Iβve ever used.

shoes received in perfect condition, they are light and efficient on speed runs.. but my foot pains on a long runs.. id like to check the speed3 for the cushioning.
