Update! The company got back to me and sent me a new one free of charge. Iโve worn it a couple of times while out on the lake. It fits comfortably and sometimes I forget itโs there.Bought this for paddle boarding. The CO2 IS included. You just need to find it in the black portion of the sack and follow the instructions. Instructions were very easy to follow. My one complaint is I just received it, I didnโt use scissors to open it (just used the easy pull tab on the soft packaging) and thereโs a rip in it. Because thereโs co2, the option to return it is unavailable.

Compared to a 8×11 piece of paper itโs small, but a little bulky. The piece you stick the CO2 container just makes it bulky. It also is hard to keep it closed with just velcro enclosing the whole thing. Overall I think itโs functional because you can pull the rip cord and also manually inflate it when needed. 4/5 stars.

Seems well built, not too heavy, has charged co2 canister that’s easy to install. Purchased product for paddleboarding when life jackets are required, takes up minimal space on board in comparison to full life jacket. While not ideal that the co2 only fills the product up partly, I really font conceive ever using it… Just need to carry one on board to adhere to Colorado law and for that it fits the bill

This is actually my second one. Not because of it breakout wearing out, because friends are always wanting to try mine out. Itโs hard to snag back when they realize how much more comfortable it is.

Looks and feels good. Very light weight. And definitely won’t get in the way when peddle boarding.

Comfortable to wear in heat (kayaking in Florida in summer) so it is better than PFDHold me up in water and can easily use manual or CO2 inflationEXCEPT that the plastic cap on the inflation got damaged when I used the CO2 inflatorby pulling too hard.If I need this to save my life, that is obviously not important but since I was using it to seehow well it worked, it is disappointing and annoying.Other disadvantage to PFD with this type of device is that self rescue into the kayak wouldseem to be impossible with this inflated in front of you.For my goals, it is functional enough to be used in an emergency, light enough to be usedin recreational kayaking in florida to satisfy the water police.I wouldn’t use it in ocean kayak surf conditions.
