The Rad Sportz Big EZ 2-Boat Rack is designed to do more than just store your kayaks, canoes, or sup boards- itβs designed to protect it too. Storing your boats off of the ground reduces the chances of it taking damage when not in use. Foam pads on the arms of these cradling hooks give your boats a soft place to rest and ensure they donβt get damaged from scraping while storing. Adjustable security straps and a maximum weight capacity of 100 lbs. per set of docking hooks help to make sure that once your boats are stored, it is not going anywhere until you take it to the water!

I picked this kayak rack because I have two Vibe Yellowfin 100 (10β) Sit-On Kayaks that weigh 55 lbs. each. I was going to install a hoist in my garage, but decided to just move my large tool boxes around and use this rack. The rack itself is made from a good quality metal that has a nice layer of power-coating. Itβs holding 110 lbs. of two kayaks as you can see in my attached image.————- SET UP ————-Each rack took about 10 minutes to set up. The only thing I did is cut two large pool noodles into sections and place them on the bars that did not have padding. I also placed them on the back bars of the rack that face the garage wall. It really did not need it, but it does protect the garage wall from getting scratched up.————- PACKAGING AND PROBLEM ————-The racks came unassembled but were packaged really well with direction that were easy to follow. However, I did have an issue with some missing bolts. I reached out to RAD Sportz customer service and they never responded. In fact, I called both of their βcorporate phone numbersβ that were listed on their website (which have been removed and only a form exists now) thinking someone would respond β Nope! Not a single phone call was returned to me the customer who just spent $196 on their kayak rack that has missing bolts. I went to a local hardware store and bought the bolts to complete the rack assembly, which cost me about $15 in hardware, plus a 20-mile round trip drive. I simply wanted them to send me the bolts to complete the assembly of their kayak rack. I am sure this was a fluke (Iβm giving the benefit of the doubt), but for my experience, they dropped the ball β they should have responded.————- CONCLUSION ————-Itβs a stable rack that is holding two 55 lb. sit-on kayaks. However, customer service in my experience is non-existent. Like I said, this was probably a fluke (Iβm giving the benefit of the doubt), but something to consider before buying one of their products.I gave three stars because I reached out to RAD Sportz customer service to help resolve the problem of missing bolts and not once did anyone at RAD Sportz customer service return a phone call.****** Please let me know if this review was helpful by clicking the βHelpfulβ button below***** THANK YOU!

There were not many reviews for this product when I purchased it and I saw a few mixed reviews so I wanted to leave a review of my own. I think this is my first or second Amazon review and I have been a member since 2013. If that tells you anything about how impressed I was with this product. The quality of this product is spectacular and was extremely easy to assemble. Its very sturdy and looks amazing. The storage rack that I ordered was the one that is 73 inches in height and I was uncertain if it would fit my wide sit on top kayaks. That is the main reason why I am leaving this review. My kayaks are 36.5 inches wide and this storage rack fits them perfectly with room to spare. I even have them facing the same direction and I am sure I could free up more space by storing them in opposite directions. I also cut up a pool noodle to add padding where none is provided. My second photo shows where I added the pool noodle however, Amazon keeps rotating that photo, so I apologize for that. Hope this helps others with their shopping experience.

I have been very impressed with this product so far. I was looking for a rack that could handle my slightly wider, and in the case of one of them, heavier kayaks. The 35β wide 90lb Mayfly fit perfectly on the bottom and the 34β wide 60lb Crescent fit easily on the top. The angled holders are also a great space saver. Setup was simple and, although I have only had it for a short period of time, it seems to be quite sturdy.

Great storage and space saver in my garage. Our to new kayaks fit perfectly. It was easy to assemble by myself. I can store both my kayaks in less than the same space I had I canoe.

Two Crescent Crews no problem! These two yaks are tandem behemoths and the stand should be able to hold just about anything you throw at it. Parts of the frame were dented but it’s not too bad.

This fits my 10 ft hobie passport and 10 foot native slayer max and they both fit perfect. Plenty of room and great supports.
