Hey kayak family…. if you are looking for a sponge that ACTUALLY works…. get this one! Yes it costs more but the ones that come in a 3-pack, etc are total garbage. Spend the money and you’ll love the results.

I used it for the first time. I thought it would have soak up the water in my kayak more easily but didnβt. Thou it did clean it off nicely when I took the kayak out of the water which had mud and seaweed on it.

Love this for when water gets in the kayak! Super happy with this product.

I used this sponge to mop up some pools of water that had collected over the plastic sheeting in my crawlspace. Space was restricted, but with the sponge and a bucket, I was able to soak it all up remarkably quickly. If there was any problem, it was getting the sponge dried out afterwards. Since I donβt expect to be using it on a daily basis, I didnβt want to leave it damp only to get mouldy. Hanging it up near some hot water pipes did the trick. I guess the sponge would probably do a great job on kayaks, too!

This only soaks up about 1 cup of water. Iβm still glad I got it. I purchased a manual bilge pump in caseI get swamped while kayaking. Honestly this is just good for the little water that gets inside while getting in/out of the boat. And cleaning. I was under the impression it would soak up a lot more. 3 stars because itβs miss leading.

I keep it on the floor of my kayak and it soaks up a lot of water for it’s size and seems like it will hold up well.

I bought one originally for mild bailing in my kayak and wiping it down after I got it of the water. Got a second one for cleaning at home. Absorbs well, reasonably easy to wring out. The old one has held up well, I just like having a “clean” one and one for the lake water
