A very useful device for signalling the need for assistance urgently, but mighty difficult to have transported due to the rockets in the package, which most carriers won’t touch with a bargepole. I had to have them removed and disposed of before I could receive my package. Still, this is a good quality item which does what it says on the tin. It can be very useful in many ways, which I will not elaborate upon, suffice it to say it has its limits, and don’t exceed them or damage will result. This is not a toy, this is a life saving machine, don’t let children or half wits play with it. If you need someone to tie your shoe laces for you, don’t buy this.

I have not yet fired it as it was specifically purchased for rescue signaling or to be fired at charging cougars or bears to scare them off. Fun to snap shut, has a similar feeling to loading a double barrel shotgun, something very satisfying about that. Flares that came with it have an expiration date over three years from now which is nice to see. A good tool for any survivalist to grab.

I ordered Orion Aerial Flare Kit and got Orion road flares. Kinda hard to use a road flare in the water. But I left seller feed back and got the Aerial Flare Kit replacement two days later. Great customer service. And hopefully, I’ll never have to use them.

Product arrived quickly, works perfectly. Only problem is that both of the black grips come with large white warning text printed on them. This is not shown in any of the unboxed product photos. Thought it might be a removeable sticker or printed on box. Doesn’t mess with the product, but it is very ugly and I wish it had been advertised better.
