   These are great little throw bags! We use them for practice in technical water rescue and they are the perfect size. Other throw bags are bulky and too heavy for some people to throw. I’ve taken these around the world!

   I like it because it is compact enough to easily fit on kayaks this encourages use on every trip. It is easy to throw, and the bag has a little extra room in it which makes it more convenient to repack the rope. During one trip I used it to recover a pinned kayak which indicated that the rope is quite strong and the rope showed no visible signs of damage. (as a side note I would recommend caution reusing any rope that was highly loaded ,if you have any doubt at all, it should be retired from any used that impact peoples safety) My use as been with rapids class III or less.
