I bought these for water activities and hiking and they are perfect. I’ve also used them for slip and slide water kick ball and they were fantastic. These are very durable, good looking, and better than barefoot brand. I highly recommend these. In fact, my fiance chose the barefoot brand water shoes ( I used to own them, and they were good) but the barefoot brand ended up giving him a blister on his toe when hiking in them while I was very comfortable with my Nortiv water shoes. He has asked me to buy him some Nortiv ones as well. Only flaw is that it runs really small and it’s hard to find your right size. I ordered 4 different sizes – 6 women’s (my normal size), 5.5 women’s, 3 children’s, and finally 5 in women’s (this was the size that fit me perfect).

UPDATE: so after leaving my review the seller contacted me and gave me a full refund. The sole of my shoe was starting to detach unfortunately. I do really like the shoes though. They fit really well in my kayak and stay on my feet and are super comfortable. Will definitely give them another try after the seller reached out and made it right.I like these shoes they work. I’ve worn them 3 times now and they are already starting to rip and fall apart unfortunately. I’ll probably try gluing them back and sewing them up together. They are super light weight and have a hard enough soul to walk on rocks. I like them i just wish it was better material. But that’s everything nowadays

Really found them comfortable, almost a bit wide, but they worked for me. My only complaint is that they have very little traction. I wear them for water aerobics and find they are very slippery on the pool bottom.I would have liked them to have some better traction and friction to prevent slips during movement. Otherwise, well constructed and comfortable.

I originally purchased this shoe and another pair of water shoes directly through the manufacturer. They were too large and I had some return issues. When I initially contacted the manufacturer they were not very concerned about solving the problem. Rather than argue I purchased the shoe in a smaller size through Amazon and wrote a review describing my experience. I was subsequently contacted by a different representative (Ivy) and she went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service in addressing the issue. We corresponded back and forth through Amazon and the issue was resolved in a couple of days. Some reps are better than others and some understand outstanding customer service is essential if you want to retain good customers these days. Thank you, Ivy, and I appreciate your hard work.

Just arrived today, I have issues with my ankles and need a stable fitting shoe for outdoors. These are designed great!! The plastic sides the hold the shoelaces hold your foot in place. Also a ribbon sewn on the back to hold your heal stable. The band around the ankle is like a sock top and stretches and when you slip it on. It is not loose. ( Bought another shoe I returned that was not stretchy around the ankle and it was hard to get on and off) Has an arch and the materials are soft and not itchy. Nice solid tracking sole with water holes. So comfortable. Will see how they hold up on vacation.

I really like the quality of these water shoes. I wear and 8.5 women’s shoe and the 8.5 that I recieved is about one full size too big.

I have an average 7.5 foot and the 7 fit best. Due to the varying reviews, I purchased both the 7 and 6.5. Again, 7 fit best but it was very uncomfortable for my ankle and after a day at Xcaret skin tore. Plan ahead when purchasing, but I do not regret it. This style is far better than the ones available when I was a kid. After my family saw what I had they also purchased Nortiv8.

I love how versatile these shoes are. I’ve taken them in the river, on rocky hikes in the mountains, and I even wear them to the gym occasionally. Only things I can’t do is run in them, it’s a bit to flat to support my foot with running. Also I wouldn’t recommend them for hiking anything above moderate because although the grip is good you’ll what something heavier for support.
