Super Mum –
We screwed the rack in the studs and didn’t have to use the included drywall anchors. In order to make the process easier we:- Used a stud finder- Marked the holes of the first rack with a pencil- Pre-drilled holes for the one rack only- Screwed in the first rack- Used a broom handle and a level to ensure the rack was going to be straight- Marked the second holes with a pencil, after ensuring it was level- Pre-drilled holes for the second rack- Screwed in the second rackIt only took a few minutes to do the extra steps of pre-drilling and leveling and, in the end, saved us a ton of time, ensured we didn’t make a mistake, and made the process smooth and easy. The board is super secure, gives the room a “surfer vibe” and I no longer have to move the board to vacuum the room or worry it will be knocked/tripped over. It is easy to grab off the wall and surf with if you are mounting a board you use. In our case, we mounted a decorative board and the ones we surf with are in ugly bags ready to grab, when needed.

I know Iβll probably get a lot of negative comments for this, but I will warn SUP owners before buying as it clearly says it is NOT for SUPs:I would only recommend this by itself if your board is 10β or less, but it will work for a large SUP if youβre willing to provide a little extra support. I had purchased the SUP version of this kit, but it stuck out WAY too far off the wall for my liking, and after seeing a review from a SUP owner successfully using this version, I bought these. It definitely held up our 12 foot DuraSUPS weight-wise, but the problem was that they did not have enough room to comfortably lean back towards the wall and a very gentle pull would cause them to start tipping forward. I really didnβt want to go back to the huge SUP version of the mount so my solution was just to put a strap in the center to keep them from being able to tip. Works great for me with this slight modification.Just as a warning to anyone who has lightweight, plastic (not epoxy) or foam SUPs that are confident these can hold it properly: it will hold the weight, but it is not enough length off the wall to comfortably support it without worries.I suggest the manufacturer produce a βmiddlemanβ size, the SUP version really sticks out way too far (11 inches vs 6.5) for the average SUP thickness and makes it tough to mount SUPs indoors without them taking up a ton of room.Great product for the money though and this setup 100% works for me in a small apartment. My only complaint was the quality of the hardware included, one of the screwsβ heads snapped off while I was screwing it in, resulting in a screw being stuck in the wall.

This product serves the purpose it is intended to fabulously. The only thing that I did not know is that these come in different sizes. I ordered one set of these a while back to put up one of my boards and it works so well I ordered a second set, which this will eventually lead to another set or 2 if I can find wall space. The racks are made of what seems to be a “hollowish” steel sideways L, but what makes them so nice is the massive 3M type felt pad that the board sits on. Decent price for a nice discreet way to mount a board on a wall and also allows for easy access to go. Next racks will be for the longboard so I would need the large racks for it’s weight. Thus far I have the Cult board up as seen in the picture and my Neilson floaty fish. Thanks again.

I was a little skeptical about installing these in wood paneling without using studs, but I used my own anchors and itβs worked perfectly.I bought it to mount a 9β6β that probably weighs around 35 lbs.The first night I was sort of sketched out wondering if my longboard was going to knock me out/kill me while I was sitting on the couch underneath it, but a few weeks later itβs still holding strong. Even gotten some compliments on it.Not 5/5 because I had to use my own sturdy anchors that I trust more than whatever was included with this set.

I didn’t use the provided hardware as I installed in concrete. Easy to install, minimalist and solid.

It worked fine and looked great!

I used these to hang an 8 foot longboard on my wall. Worked well, but this board is probably the upper limit for these without worrying about the board falling off.

Just perfect! Keeps your board nicely organized on a garage wall.
