I have never written a bad review on a product I have purchased from Amazon but I feel compelled to warn consumers on two issues.First problem:I purchased the Darkhorse and the boots were supposed to come with a standard Kling-on sole and an additional studded Kling-on sole. I received only the standard sole. I contacted the company that shipped them (WebyShops) through their customer service and requested the missing soles. I had to send an email because they wouldnโt answer the phone. I never heard back from them.Second Problem:I ended up spending another $50 to purchase soles that would have an enhanced grip (like the soles that didnโt ship) because I couldnโt wait for a response from WebyShops due to an upcoming fishing trip in Europe.Well, by the end of the trip (2 days of fishing), I experienced the one problem that was a concern when I bought these boots in the first place. One of the new soles I purchased fell off sometime during the trip and was lost. $50 flushed down the drain.Iโm going on another trip in Montana in two weeks and now I have to buy ANOTHER felt sole with enhanced grip for another $50.Iโm into these boots for $300 now and if I lose another sole, I guess Iโm going to throw these things in the trash. How disappointing!I purchased these boots for my brother as a gift and heโs going on his first trip with them in a couple of weeks. I had to warn him the boots I bought him might lose a sole so be careful. How embarrassing!P.S. the one positive thing I can say about the boots is they are comfortable….but who cares if your boots are comfortable if you slip on a rock and bust your butt get soaked.

I needed one size larger than my previous Corkers for proper fit, but these are great boots. So much easier to get on and off than the old ones (can’t remember the model of those) because of the wider opening. They also seem to have much improved stitching and other quality aspects vs. my last ones. The only complaint I have is in the studded soles. The quality of those, and the grip, vs. my other pair is terrible. Poorly placed studs, some not protruding at all from the soles having been drilled between knobbies, limit your traction. Would buy again without hesitation.

My last pair of Korkers lasted 10 years…Lacing system is way better than any old style lace-up wading boots, and studded soles are nice option to have. Can’t wait for Spring when I can give them a real test.

Comfortable, however not the best option for winter stream for warmth. First time using boots, I like the adjustable system but not the best choice for sub zero outside temps and 30 degree water

Very comfortable and durable

Since I am an older guy and definitely not as flexible as I used to be these are excellent! I can just stand as I slide them on and the boa system makes it so easy for adjusting how tight I need them for the day! Comfort and support are also fantastic!! Makes getting into the river much more enjoyable!
