I purchased these goggles about a year ago for my 5 year old son. Initially, they were great and we really liked them (actually, my son LOVED them!). Despite being kind of dark in indoor settings, they worked perfectly outdoors. My son never complained about water getting inside of the goggles. . .and the fit for his head was perfect and comfortable. He was also able to put them on and adjust the dual-straps on his head most days with zero assistance.Well, in less than 6 months of use, the goggles looked pretty rough. The “metallized” lenses had a few scratches and the plastic adjusting piece would continually fall off. Despite these problems, my son was still able–and wanted–to use them. We would just snap the piece back on and continue like nothing happened. That is, until the piece went missing somewhere at swim lessons this year. After this occurred, we were forced to purchase a new, but different, set.Overall, the goggles were okay. We did have some issues with fogging but not so much that we wanted to dispose of them immediately. For a young child, I wish that the metallized tint was a little more durable. Despite the scratches, the usability was still there and my son did not complain about them obstructing his sight. The only thing that I was most concerned about is the plastic-side clip giving out so soon. I cannot say that it was due to user error since it was rare that my son needed to adjust the tightness of the goggles. . .and if he did, more often than not, his father or I (or swim instructor) would help him with them. So, if it was not for that, I would say that these are 4 stars but since I am not sure about the plastic-piece being defective, I have decided to rate them as a “3”.

My daughter loves these for indoor/outdoor (pool) swimming. The mirror reflection really deflects the sun and the glare that bounces off the water. They are easy to adjust and the silicone keeps them in place on her head and eyes. We’re on our 3rd pair. They can scratch, not easily but suggest keeping them in the pouch that comes with it when not in use. She has used them in salt water and work just as well.

Made my little more confident for swim practice. Everything has to be blue these days. They worked as described.

My daughter has been wearing this brand and style of goggles since she was 4 and is now 10 and still loves them. We usually get news ones every few months as sheβs in the pool 4x per week. The tinted work perfect for her outdoor practices and meets and clear for indoors.
