I attached a photo because I think it should be compared to a child’s life vest for a 30-50 lb child. The one on the left is labeled for 30-50 lb child, however it is too small for our 50 lb child. The one I’m reviewing on the right is labeled for a 50-90 lb youth. We were looking for a small size 50-90 lb vest for our 5 year old who is 50 lbs. This one fits perfectly, but we can tell it will not fit a 90 lb child (unless that child is tall and very slender). It is a comfortable youth size vest for the small side of 50-90 lb category. Enclosed sides, soft, and the zipper makes it more comfortable. Nice colors also – very sporty.

I bought it because I like the color. I returned another one of the same brand. I usually wear a large and in some shirts I wear a medium. The first one I got was an XL and I couldn’t even get it on. So I got an XXL and it fits fine. But, I don’t know what universe it is that I require an XXL. I haven’t used it in the water yet, but I assume it will be fine.
