Our toddler is about 15 months and she fits this pretty good. We can let go and she floats on her back but I wouldn’t let her go by herself for a while since the water is right there at her chin. Overall a good option if you’re looking for a little more peace of mind.

The life jacket does ride up on her a little when she sits, and pushes against her chin. It is still safe but a little uncomfortable for her only when sitting. When we were moving in the kayak she didn’t mind, and fell asleep so obviously not horrible uncomfortable for her. The fit as far as straps and tightness is perfect though! She’s 16 lb for reference. Glad we got it!

This is the best life best I could find to my for my daughter at a decent price point. Every other life vest seemed entirely too big- this was perfect!

I give five stars for comfort because it fit my daughter the way it was supposed to, however I think she’d give it a 1 because she didn’t like wearing it at all. (That does have anything to do with the product though.) It’s SO cute and due to how tiny she is I will be able to get two years of use out of it.
