I overall really like the brackets. I used them to hang an βart surfboardβ. My two comments are that while I think I understand the idea behind the width of the part that the board sits on, it does seem a little too wide. Also, while two sides of the bracket are nicely padded, I really think all three sides should be padded. The only other thing is if you are hanging something like a surfboard, you really need at least three brackets. Two at the bottom for the item to sit on and one at the top to keep it from tumbling over if somehow the house is shaken. Such as where I live in California! So I bought two packages and now I have a leftover bracket that will just go in the pile of other miscellaneous things that I donβt know what to do with but I am resistant to throwing away! But overall I really like them a lot. A little expensive I think, but very well-made. Apologies to the manufacturer if I sound like Iβm complaining because Iβm not!

This is a great product as usual, I have purchased many products from them and I am always happy with their things, these racks were super easy to install, and they look great in our garage, the surf sleeves are also from them and theyβre great. Another happy purchase not to mention super fast delivery

The brackets were easy to install and they hold my board nicely !

Everything is as described and I am completely satisfied, mounts look great and really transformed my room!

Poorly designed for installation. L You canβt get Standard drill into position to put the lower bolt into place. I inadvertently stripped two screws as a result of trying to get it to work. Now I am stuck with two bolts in a wall that donβt come out and I have to figure out how to pull them out in addition to not being able to use the bracket anymore.

They do exactly what they are supposed to do. My surfboard is now hanging in the garage out of the way. Thereβs a nice soft padding on This so it doesnβt Damage the board. Good product.

It looks wonderful. Very sturdy and includes all the necessary parts. Holds my board well π

This is a great no frills, modern, minimalist, surf board mount. Another great product from Ho Stevie at a great price point. Arrived in perfect condition – i was worried the black paint would be chipped, it wasnt. Once you make sure to properly measure and plan, the process is a breeze. The mounting holes are in a tight spot, but with the proper tool, a manual screwdriver, it goes up in a few minutes. I used the included hardware and didn’t have any issues.I have a small longboard. My process was to first determine where I wanted the board to rest on the mounts, and note the position and distance between the two. Once I had that I measured the distance from the stringer to the edge of the board. The difference between the two measurements will tell you the offset needed between the two mounts. Without this, an egg shaped board will hang crooked. So if at the nose it’s 8in to the stringer, and 6in at the tail, you now know in order to hang straight, the mounts must be 2 inches apart, ie hang one at 58 from the floor, the next 60 inches from the floor. You now have the calculation of the height of the two mounts. To center over an object, determine what the difference in length is between the board and the object you’re centering it over. Then, divide that by two. That is the amount of space the board will overhang over an object, on each side. You now know where the board will sit, leaving you to now determine how far the mounts need to be from the edges of the board. Then measure the distance from the nose and tail to the two mounts. That measurement will tell you how far in from the overhang (board nose/tail edge) you will need place the mount. You now have the left-right measurement calculated, and are ready to begin mounting the hardware. There aren’t any instructions included, due to the many shapes of the board, but they have a YouTube video, and are great about answering questions. Use my tips above and you’ll have your baby on the wall in no time.
