This is a great paddle, only issue is what I received was not quite what was pictured. The picture was more of a beavertail type style of blade, which is what i wanted. However, what we received was a narrower otter tail type of blade. A little disappointed until we took it out for a day trip. Actually liked it better for river running with the narrower blade, as it’s a bit more robust for pushing against rocks, etc. Great value for the money.

perfect product. Delivered as advertised. Have has this product before and it lasted decades. This is a replacement for a paddle that was exposed to the weather endlessly and finally cracked. Superb product. Would buy again.

Lightweight but able to maneuver 14′ jonboat, gave 4-star rating as I suspect after multiple uses, may require a coat of wood sealer at some point. Confused about a r”Warmth” rating for an oar?? It’s wood, not aluminum so no temp variance.

Best oar I’ve used for the money. We fish in shallow rivers, so there are a lot of boulders and rocks. The plastic oars break easily under these kinds of environments. These wooden oars are not too heavy, long enough to hit bottom in a pinch and redirect your raft, and strong enough to use as a lever when you’re stuck or jammed up against a boulder in strong current. They also float in case one gets away from you which comes in handy when you lose your grip in whitewater.

Works great. The finish was a little off around the handle, but for the price canβt complain. Iβm 6β2β and itβs a perfect size

The media could not be loaded. Β We just got a canoe and did not want to invest too much to try paddling for the first time. At the same time did not want plastic. They work great look good and price is right.

Perfect well made
Disappointed –
First, each one came in an individual flat box 5 feet by 3, so the tip of the oar was exposed and the surface scuffed. The finish was not properly applied at the bottom of the oar and one side of the top handle wasn’t sanded properly or finished. Not expensive but still poorly crafted.
