   I don’t often write reviews unless something on Amazon really impressed or dissatisfied me. However, this thing is EXCELLENT! It is an awesome dive light, a great value, and well made. Let’s talk about the brightness for a minute. Do you want to illuminate a small area or turn it all the way up and bring daylight to your immediate/distant area… this will do both.

   Got this light in hopes it was brighter than my other dive lights. I charged the battery up and took it out the next day. I used one of my chargers I had and the battery satin there but not sure how well. We went out to a fresh water scuba park and I took it for the first dive. The water was pretty murky from the rains we have had. Went in and got to one of the boats and turned the light on. I can tell you this thing is bright. I love the fact that with the twist of the knob you can change your power level. I was able to use this on full power for at least a good 30 minutes. Once it drained the batteries below a certain percentage it would not let me use full power but the other settings still worked.The power/actions settings are just roman numerals on the bezel that you rotate. That was the only down fall I saw as I was not sure what the settings were. I did find out you have power starting lowest to highest on 1 – 4, 5 was strobe, 6 was SOS if I remember correctly. Over all I cannot wait to do a night dive with this bad boy. It is well constructed and can have the batteries loaded from wither end. It really is super bright compared to my other lights for the same price point as my other lights as well. Over all the durability and quality of this light was very good.*** Update as of 12/3/2022 Used this light when we went to Jamaica on two dives. The fist one was during the day and was great in the water at 80′. Only problem we had with it was it would not turn off. One led stayed lit. Got out of the water and dried it off and noticed it looked like it had been beat up pretty bad by being rolled around and dropped on concert or something like that. All the lettering was gone as well. When I would grab it to open it I kinda felt like I was getting shocked a little but thought nothing of it. Got back to the room and looked it over good. No flooding or wetness inside so I charged the batteries again. Put the light back together and was really shocked out how much the slat water had effected the housing. We did our night dive and it was by far one of the brightest lights under the water but once again could not get the light to turn off. Tried everything on there and still had the one LED on the off setting. Got on the boat and took a towel to dry it off and there was the feeling again of being shocked. removed my hands and nothing and put them back on there and could feel it. Just putting this out there so that you are aware of the issues I had with it. The light itself is very powerful and very bright but to not be able to turn it off and have that issues was sad.

   Be sure to read the bottom to see how I rate products.To say this flashlight is bright would be an understatement. It has to be the brightest flashlight I’ve ever owned and I have a lot of them. It uses the larger 3.7 volt batteries so I did have high expectations and they were met and surpassed. Turning it on and off is very simple and is done by turning the front of the flashlight, which is perfect for a gloved hand. It has multiple brightness modes, SOS and a flicker mode.I have not yet tested it underwater but can tell from the construction that this will not be an issue.Overall I am very pleased with this flashlight and expect it will do very well. If there are any issues down the road I will come back to amend this review.How I rate products:When I give a rating to a product said product automatically starts with four or five stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four- or five-star rating. The difference between the two is a bit subjective but is also based on the information on the Detail Page, customer service (if necessary), good instruction manual, etc.2. If an item surpasses my expectations, it will definitely receive five-stars and an extra callout3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations, it will lose a star (3 Stars)4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations. I hate poorly written instructions5. If a product is significantly below my expectations, I will deduct two stars6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four-star product receives a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one starAdditionally, if a product fails over a short time period I will come back and update my review but will also take into consideration how the company’s customer service handles the repair or replacement. I understand that issues sometime arise, even with the best of products and a rating update may not be necessary.
