This is a pretty decent pair of swim trunks. I got the large size which had plenty of room for a 32 inch waist, even after being washed. I got these trunks wet and left them to air dry, and they were mostly dry after about 10 minutes, as described on the product page. Iβve had issues with mesh liners in the past and the compression liner seems way nicer – I anticipate no chafing. One area where I think mesh may be superior is to let sand dry and fall out of the shorts, so Iβll have to update this review if the compression shorts end up having any issues with that. Not an issue if you are planning on just using these for working out or going to the pool. The mesh pockets in the front of the outer shorts are an average size – about the size of basketball short pockets or jean pockets. The hidden pocket in the compression liner is a bit smaller; my phone was showing out of the top. However, I think that smaller pocket would hold a key card or credit card very well. The stitching at all the seams was well done with no loose threads. The waist drawstring worked as expected. I ended up tying knots on the end so they wouldnβt accidentally be pulled into the waistband or out of the shorts. Based on initial impression, I am happy with these shorts and would recommend them to others.

Lets face it…almost all the clothes sold in the U.S. are made somewhere outside the U.S. I can’t remember the last time I bought clothing that was marked Made in the U.S.A. It’s just the reality of the world’s economics. Compared to other shorts I’ve bought at big retailers and big box stores, I would grade these higher than almost all but the high end name brands…and even then, I’ve seen some models of the high end name brands that are truly disappointing. These aren’t. They have heft and feel substantial. They aren’t light-weight professional running shorts where ounces matter. They are comfortable, soft, and I would wear them for daily activities. The inner liner is a great option to eliminate having to wear a separate piece of underwear. And, it’s got a cell pocket stitched in! These are my new go-to shorts for strength training and weight-lifting at the gym.I’ve washed them once and they held together fine. No unraveling of stitches or loose ends.I mentioned the sourcing of these shorts initially because it’s the one area I felt should be highlighted for most buyers. The sizing of these is based on wherever the source manufacturer is (Probably China, although I don’t have them with me as I write this review to check the tag). We all know U.S. sizing is different than the rest of the world. When I buy shorts meant for the American market, I take a size large. I read the size chart carefully and while I wasn’t thrilled with having to order a 3XL, it was the right size for me. I might have been able to go with the 2XL, but I like my shorts more on the loose side than tight.Check the chart, choose the right size, and buy these. They feel great.

I like the color and fit of these shorts. They are hitting just above the knee. I prefer a little shorter but these aren’t bad. The pockets and lining are well made. I like the secret pocket in the liner that is a perfect fit for your phone. Overall, I am happy with the quality of these shorts and would recommend! I am a 31″ waist and the small size fit me perfectly.

The compression liner feels like a great step up from the uncomfortable mesh liner many swim trunks come with.Over all material feels very nice. The fit based on the size chart does fit as expected. The only negative for me is I’m a little taller and the trunks seem a little short for me. I wish they were just a little bit longer.Over all good product.

Comfortable, soft, flexible, and I really like the inside liner. I got these to use on vacation, so I will be testing their performance when wet in a couple of weeks.

Good short for running and working out in.

Comfortable feeling swim trunks. I like the compression shorts underneath. Great in the water. Doesn’t feel like they are going to slide down when wet like most swim trunks.

These look and fit well but for me, it’s all about the liner. I’m used to the mesh lining of the swim trunks I’ve work for the last 40 years. At least for guys that carry a few extra pounds, they chafe horribly. Awful when you’re staying at a resort or on a cruise or in a beach house where you’re going to have to walk any real distance from the water to your room. These are great. It’s just like wearing nice boxer briefs under the suit. And no worries about them coming off in the water. Highly recommend.
