   A must item no matter where you go.If you have bad day in an office, you can fix it with a few phone calls, paper towels (if you spill coffee) or a trip to the Doctor. But when you are out fishing or hiking, a beautiful day outdoors can turn into a life threatening situation in a blink of an eye.After researching ACR, and their products I concluded that it’s the best Bang for your Buck.This particular kit comes with a water tight bad, an automatic strobe (moisture and water activated) an emergency whistle, a reflective Emergency signal mirror, and the PLB-425 ResQLink View.The PLB-425 View is an improvement over the PLB-400. The View allows you to see (one way) msg of the progress of the signal and stages of the rescue. I like the fact that if you Use it (and ACR can verify the rescue) They (ACR) will replace it.It comes with several attachments for your gear.Highly recommended

   I take heed what Dave Paulides recommends and carrying one of these when you go out into the woods is a good idea. Worth the money for a bit of piece of mind when I’m deep on a trail.

   Everything seems very proper!Who knows if it will really work, but all the hope is on this thing, to work (that is the only reason for 1 star off). All items are appearing to be made very well. I definitely have mere confidence in this Personal Locator Beacon, because of how well everything else is made. Good job guys. Everything looks like it will definitely last 5 years. I am counting on it. Peace. Be safe every one and tread lightly.

   We got audited by the Coast Guard and they were extremely impressed by us having this product. Even they said it was the most advanced and best that could be bought as they compared it to the older model they carried.

   I already had one of these for my airplane. Wife said no boat without having one on board. It’s nice not to have to keep flares on the boat.Not cheap, but well worth the money. Highest possible recommendation here. Great product. Safety first!
