The Pelican Micro Series boxes are nothing short of perfect. I have many of them in various sizes with both black with a clear lid and yellow with a clear lid. Anything that you’d want to protect from getting crushed or wet, then these are what you need. All of the Pelican Micro Series are made of some sort of super-strong plastic. I’m pretty sure you can run them over with your car and they wouldn’t break. They are also completely waterproof with a very tight seal when snapped closed. They come with the black carabiner, but I don’t care for them so I take them off. They also have a small pressure valve on the front to equalize the pressure. The colored rubber insert is also removable if you’d prefer to have just a clear box. Pelican boxes of all sorts are very popular with our military so that should tell you how incredibly strong and just plain great they are.

I bought these to store my Nikon battaries. I use the EN EL 15 batteries. I have 4 in the case and room for two more. I use 15Bs with my Z6 and 15s with my D7200. It holds more than I need. I guess I have a bit of boy scout in me. Never can have to many batteries.

I love pelican cases. This one’s for a tinder box in my EDC bag. Holds my ferro rod (5 inch x 1/2 inch) a bunch of dryer lint and a bunch of small pieces of wood (3 inch x 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch). Comes with a carabiner that hooks great to molle webbing, held tight while hiking. The yellow is great for easy visual against the forest floor, I keep it upside down when not open or with my gear. Another great product from a great company.

I initially got this as a sunglasses case. When I got it I was a bit surprised on how big it was. Yes, it will keep my sunglasses safe, but it’s pretty big. That can be a good thing. I definitely won’t be putting it in my pocket or in a ‘quick grab’ pocket in my travel packs. That is really the only drawback. Otherwise, it is great for smaller items you don’t want damaged when travelling. It has many uses and is built pretty well.

I love these small tough boxes to hold all kinds of stuff, from IT components up on a ladder, to my iPhone in a boat. Give them a try, you will be a fan. Waterproof, tough, durable latches and made to last.

I bought this to hold / organize / protect my Rode VideoMicro Compact microphone (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015R0IQGW/) gear. Par for the (Pelican) course, this is a ridiculously tough little box. And it’s the perfect size for the VideoMicro and a few small adapter cables. The clear top lets me instantly find the box holding what I need (vs. another 1030 holding other stuff). I love it!

This case is nothing less than what I expect in quality from pelican. Creates a super tight seal, very durable and made of quality materials. I use this as my portable cigar humidor as it maintains humidity far better than those herf-a-dors we’ve all come to use. I can keep 4 sticks in here along with my torch and cutter plus a 69% boveda packets and I’m all set. I did cuz the rubber inside to get more space and I use some of the foam from one of the 4 herf-a-dors I do have just to make it perfect. If you’re a cigar afficionado then trust me this is what you need!!

Based on another review, I bought these for my Oakley Shocktube glasses. They are a perfect fit. If you’re looking for a heavy duty transportation case for you sunglasses, this is it.
